From January to June 2021, there were 12,467 enterprises above the garment industry, with accumulated operating revenue of RMB 653.4 billion, year-on-year growth of 12.99%; total profit of RMB 27.4 billion, up 13.87% year on year, profit rate of 4.19%, up 0.03 percentage points year on year, and clothing output of 11.323 billion, year-on-year growth of 19.98%.
From January to June 2021, the total retail sales of social consumer goods was RMB 21,190.4 billion yuan, increasing by 23%, of which 487.5 billion was RMB 37.4% YoY increase; online retail sales of physical goods was RMB 5026.3 billion, up 18.7%, of which online retail sales of clothing goods increased by 24.1%
Export of clothing and clothing accessories was US $71.5 billion from January-June 2021, up 40.3% year on year.
