China's textile and clothing exports slowed down in July, but they were still within the expected range.In July, repeated domestic epidemics and rare large rainstorms and floods were negative for domestic consumption and the service industry, and a number of economic indicators showed slowing down.Without the significant improvement in overseas epidemic prevention and control, combined with the high base effect, the growth rate of national trade in goods exports fell in that month, and imports fell month-on-month.In March consecutive months, textile and clothing exports showed negative growth year on year, but the deceleration did not exceed expectations. The export of traditional major commodities still maintained year-on-year and double growth with the same period in 2019, and the tone of the overall repair of foreign trade did not be shaken.
1 ~ In July, China's textile and clothing trade volume reached US $188.4 billion, up 9.7% year on year and 13.5% from the same period in 2019.Exports were $172.31 billion, up 8.5%, 13.7% from the same period in 2019, imports $16.09 billion, up 24.4%, 11.6% from the same period in 2019, cumulative trade surplus $156.22 billion, up 7% and 13.9% from the same period in 2019.In July, China's trade in textile and clothing was US $31.31 billion, down 7.3% year on year, up 5.1% from the same period in 2019 and 2.5% month on month.Among them, exports were US $28.91 billion, down 8.9%, up 5.2% from the same period in 2019 and 2.2% month on month; imports were US $2.39 billion, up 18%, 2.6% from the same period in 2019 and 4.8% in 2019.The trade surplus for the month was $26.52 billion, down 10.7%, up 5.5% from the same period in 2019 and 2%.
