Demand recovery and order return is good for the export period
From January to August, China's textile trade and clothing reached 221.83 billion, up 8.1% year on year and 14.5% from the same period in 2019.Among them, exports were $203.19 billion, up 6.8%, up 14.6% from the same period in 2019; imports were $18.63 billion, up 25%, 13% from the same period in 2019, the cumulative trade surplus was $184.56 billion, up 6.2% and 13.7% from the same period in 2019.In August, the trade volume of textile and clothing was US $33.43 billion, slightly up 0.2% year on year, up 20.5% from the same period in 2019, and up 6.8% month on month.Among them, exports were US $30.89 billion, down 1.6%, up 20.2% from the same period in 2019 and 6.8% month on month; imports were US $2.54 billion, up 28.8%, 23.2% from the same period in 2019 and 6.3% month on month.The trade surplus for the month was $28.35 billion, up 3.8%, up 20% from the same period in 2019, and up 6.9% from the previous month.
