According to Vietnam's Customs Online on September 19, the General Administration of Customs said that Vietnamese textile, clothing, footwear (cotton, cloth, yarn and textile and footwear) imported $1.89 billion in August.Imports in the first eight months reached $17.7 billion, up 29.4% year over year, equivalent to a net increase of $4 billion.The product, mainly from China, imports US $9.2 billion, up 35% year on year, accounting for up to 52%.The rest are South Korea ($1.7 billion, up 15%), Taiwan ($1.7 billion, up 32%), the U. S. ($1.3 billion, down 5.1%) and more.
By the end of August, Vietnam'imports from China reached $72.04 billion, up 46.1% year on year, accounting for 33.3% of total imports.
